Health

Human beings have always dealt with disease and sickness, but thankfully, we live in a time where medical science has advanced far enough to relieve the suffering of many forms of illness. Cancer and many forms of illness caused by a virus, however, remain challenges for the medical community. While medicine continues to advance, genetic engineering continues also, offering the frightening prospect of genetically-modified super germs having a resistance to traditional forms of antibiotics and disinfectants. In addition, technology that emits radiation has long been thought to pose certain dangers to human health. A proper diet and exercise are proactive steps we can take to improve our overall health and well being. Medical science has come a great distance from its primitive past, but it still has a long way to go in the quest to alleviate human suffering.
