Scientists Say Europe, Not Africa, Was Birthplace of Humans

    The history of human evolution may needs to be rewritten now that scientists have discovered that Europe was the birthplace of mankind, not Africa. The current, most widely-accepted narrative is that human lineage split from apes around 7 million years ago in Africa. But now, two fossils of an ape-like creature which had human-like teeth have been found in Bulgaria and Greece, dating to 7.2 million years ago.
